This year's solstice set is all about celebrating the cozy, warm nature that knit items provide. We at Sun Valley believe that wrapping yourself up in your handmade shawl, sweater, or scarf, is like a warm hug. That's why this year's solstice set theme is cozy cottage!
This color palette will be an array of soft, cozy colors with skeins featuring both tonals and splashes. You can expect to have the beautiful saturation we are known for with several new colors and a palette yet to be seen in our shop.

This item is a pre-order, and the kits will ship the week of October 26th.

You have a choice of 3 different yarn bases!
The yarn base choices for the kit are:
- 80-10-10 Merino/Cashmere/Nylon Fingering
- 80/20 Merino Nylon Fingering
- 100% Merino Fingering
The kit will contain 24 mini skeins of yarn (20g= ~80 yards), a full skein in a complementary color, and many goodies to make this kit all the more special.
As an advent kit, each mini skein will be individually wrapped and numbered so you can open them in true advent style, or you can open them all & rearrange to fit your project/style!
While we don't have a specific pattern in mind, this advent kit will work with many of Ambah O'Brien's advent patterns and other designers who follow the advent kit trend. If you'd like some pattern suggestions, feel free to visit our Advent Inspiration. Please keep in mind, this kit does not include in a pattern with purchase.
We are offering FREE shipping to the lower 48 states and you will receive a tracking number upon shipment.
