Welcome to Sun Valley Fibers, we are happy you stopped by to visit!

All of our yarns are hand-dyed in small batches – 6 to 8 skeins at a time.  For custom orders, however, we will dye as many as you like.

PAYMENT

All purchases are processed through PayPal, so you are able to easily use your bank account, major credit card or Paypal account for your purchase.   If you pay by personal check through Paypal, your order will be held until the check clears.   I apologize for any inconvenience that may cause, but I hope you understand.    Payment is expected within 24 hours of your order, and items will not ship until payment is completed.

 

In Stock orders we will ship within a few days of the order -- however if we are out of town at a fiber event, it may take us a little longer.

Custom Orders can take between 2 to 4 weeks to fill.   We will let you know if the delay will be longer, but always feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.   We take the utmost pride in our fast shipping of in stock items!

 

CONTINENTAL U.S. SHIPPING:

Packages are sent via USPS.   We will supply you with the tracing number, so you will know exactly where your Yarn is!  Sun Valley Fibers is not responsible for packages once they leave our hands, however we will do our very best to make sure that your package reaches you safely and without problems.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Packages sent outside the continental U.S. are shipped via USPS.  Please understand we offer neither insurance nor delivery confirmation on international orders and we can’t be held responsible for packages once they are out of our hands.  If there are any customs fees, they are solely the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, and we carefully examine each item prior to shipment to ensure it meets our high standards.   If for some reason you find you are unhappy with the item, please contact us within 5 days of receipt and let us know.   We will do whatever we can to make things right.    If it’s decided that a return is what is best,  we will accept returns within three weeks of purchase, provided it’s in the same condition as it was when shipped (i.e., the skeins of yarn haven’t been wound into a ball and the skein still has its label attached).   The original purchase price, minus shipping, will be issued as store credit towards another purchase.    Please contact us and get prior approval to return an item, as items returned without approval will not be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

The photographs posted are a representation of the colorway described.   Please understand that dyeing yarn is an art, and there are many factors that affect how colors turn out from one batch to another.  If you require several skeins of yarn in the same dyelot to complete your project, it is recommended to order all that you will require at the same time.   We cannot guarantee that yarn dyed at a later time will match exactly what you previously purchased.

 

It is recommended that when knitting with hand-dyed yarn you alternate skeins every few rows for equal color distribution.

 

If you would like your yarn wound into a center-pull ball, please ask, we would be happy to do so.   Please remember that you will not be able to return yarn once it is no longer in the skein in the condition as you received it.

 

Our home is a pet-friendly environment, and currently we have four cats and two dogs living with us.   We do not allow our pets into our fiber room, and make every effort to keep them away from yarn and fiber before it ships.   We just wanted to let you know, in case you or someone you may be purchasing fiber for has an animal allergy.
