Quicksilver is shown in Yarn Base Merino Worsted

This colorway is available for order in any of our yarn bases.

Color: Quicksilver is one in my series of greys -- and it's a light, airy, silvery grey.

Dye Technique: Our yarns are all hand-dyed with acid dyes, using techniques which permanently bond the color to the yarn. The colors are all steam set for fade resistance.

Care: Hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle in cool water, using a gentle wool soap such as Soak or Eucalan. Block and air dry flat.

    MCS Fingering Yarn and Life Saver Kit

    I used the MCS fingering and the Life Saver kit for the Ann Budd Raglan sweater class with amazing results. The minis in the kit contained the perfect amounts of yardage--the base of two of the minis had issues and Jeannette replaced them as soon as I let them know. The MCS fingering was perfect for the main color. I will use this yarn again!

    Used SVF Worsted weight in Quicksilver to make a gift. Color, weight and texture were gorgeous and consistent across all 6 skeins. A tactile joy to work with and I can't wait to start another project soon with some of the MCS-F I purchased.

    Picked this up originally at a wool festival, needed a bit more and was soooo happy to find it a staple in your collection. Love working with this fiber, knits up very nicely and is very soft and elegant.
