This class will be Friday, November 8 from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Fiber Frolic Retreat
Many long-time knitters still fear the hook. Learning a few crochet basics can help you take the next step. After all, who doesn't want to make a Granny Square?
The possibilities for mixing the two techniques are endless: you can use crochet as a finishing technique, make button loops, lend structure to your knitted projects and even secure steeks.
This class will teach some basic crochet techniques that can add a unique touch to your knitting: single crochet, chain, crab stitch and others.
The class requires a small amount of homework, which you will receive about a month before the Retreat.
Class Supplies:
Worsted weight yarn in a contrasting color to your squares (which are your homework) crochet hook size G or H.
