This class will be Friday, November 11 at 2 p.m. at the Fiber Frolic Retreat with Lisa Ross
Description:
Expand your fiber horizons by shifting your knitting on the bias! This class combines simple increases and decreases to create bias knit designs that drape beautifully when worn and produce eye-catching results. Bias knitting may sound intimidating, but even beginners will see how easy it is to knit up parallelograms and chevrons that can transform a straightforward scarf into a fashionable accessory. Once you've mastered the basics, we'll play with symmetry and asymmetry, apply unique construction techniques and incorporate both color and texture to highlight the skills you've just learned. Students will leave this class confident in creating new angles in knitting!
