Learn to knit a variety of buttonholes to suit your project or your button stash! One row, two row, bound hole, small hole, vertical or side to side? Even an afterthought buttonhole!
Which buttonhole looks best in the button band stitch pattern? Which will fit the buttons I want to use??
Learn to make basic buttonholes in several different common band stitch patterns - 1 by 1 rib, 2 by 2 rib, and garter stitch.
Class Supplies:
Smooth, light colored DK or Worsted weight yarn;
needles appropriate to the yarn weight that gives average gauge (US 4-8);
some needles two sizes smaller
tapestry needle
crochet or repair hook
