This class will be held Friday, November 4, 2021 at the Fall Fiber Frolic Retreat.
The class will begin at 2 p.m.
Winter is coming! It is never too early in the year to prep for the cold weather. Kate will show you how to create custom mittens -- regular or fingerless!! -- for any hand and with any yarn. Use up your stash and keep your friends and family warm. Along the way she will share tips for making hand-knit mittens as warm as possible -- from yarn choice to lining strategies, and help you deal with problem areas like ill-fitting or holey thumbs.
Level: beginning knitters through intermediate. Ideally you will have knit a pair of mittens before.
Prerequisites: basic knitting skills
Class Time: 2-3 hours
Class Size: maximum of 12
Classes are for retreat attendees only. Thank you for your cooperation.
Class Materials and Homework will be listed in the Sun Valley Fibers Fall Fiber Frolic Ravelry group for each specific class.
