This class will be Saturday, November 12 at 2 p.m. at the Fiber Frolic Retreat

It's time to combine fashion with function!  The cuff of a mitten or sock has an important job to do, but that doesn't mean it should be boring.  This class will demonstrate 6 different ways to dress up your socks and mittens by adding cables, lace, smocking and even bobbles.  I will guide you through two different cast-ons for creating a comfortable fit.... one that is wonderfully elastic for everyday use (I use it for almost ALL of my socks and mittens!!) and another for creating a decorative scalloped edge.   I will discuss considerations for pairing the cuff with an existing pattern, as well as simple modifications to make any of these cuffs work with a design.  Understated ribbing will be a thing of the past.... let's show off what we have up our sleeves!!!
