This class will be Friday, January 26th, 2018 at the January Thaw Retreat
The class will begin at 9 a.m. and is a three-hour class.
So you've knit all of the pieces of a sweater --- now what? In this class we will explore different seaming and finishing techniques such a s mattress stitch, grafting, weaving in ends and more -- to make your knitting look as fabulous as it deserves.
Materials and homework:
Please bring projects that need finishing or polishing,as well as four swatches: two 4" x 4" squares of stockinette stitch AND two 4" by 4" squares of garter stitch -- one each bound off and the other of each left live. I would suggest using a worsted weight yarn for your samples.
Notebook, pen, ruler, darning needle/s, scissors
