We process our fleeces into beautiful, natural-colored roving for handspinners to enjoy and spin into
the yarns of their dreams. We use Patrick Green equipment to accomplish this, and the results are just terrific!
They are so soft, the rovings practically spin themselves. We prefer to process the fleeces ourselves because the Icelandic
fleeces are so individual in their colors, we wanted more control over the combining or not combining of the colors into rovings.
By processing them ourselves, we can process single animal's fleeces quickly and efficiently or combine those
fleeces that are similar or blend colors in complementary ways to produce the best possible product for our clientele.
We will soon be accepting fleeces from people who have small flocks of sheep who would like to have the fleeces processed
into rovings. We will let you know when that is available.
We also have one-of-a-kind hand-dyed yarns available.
These are not Icelandic yarns, but commercial yarns, usually mohair and bamboo blends that I hand-dye into gorgeous colors
to complement our Icelandic roving.
